Operating Hours and Procedures During the COVID-19 Crisis
Regarding the "Stay at Home" orders issued by the Governors of Kentucky and Indiana, The Sewing & Vacuum Authority is considered an "essential business" as we provide "other essential businesses and operations with ... sanitary equipment ... chemicals, soaps, and detergents." Indeed, we supply and repair high filtration vacuums, steam sanitizers, air purifiers, and institutional-grade cleaners to numerous government and medical facilities, especially in recent weeks. We also repair “essential vacuum and sewing machines” as well as sell sewing machines and sergers used to make gowns and masks.
All of our stores, in Louisville, KY, and Indiana, are now open for business. Hours vary by store. We are only allowing three customers in each store at a time as an extra precaution.
